DURAMAT TRAINING OVERVIEW

The design of the training programme is aligned with EU related policies, incorporating the seven principles for Innovative Doctoral Training, and the 2030 Vision on the Future of Universities in Europe, mainly aligned with Transformation Modules TM5: Fostering increased knowledge transfer and collaboration between academia and non-academic sectors via the secondments, and TM6: Knowledge-driven universities in the context of digital changes – the transition to open science through FAIR and open data and OA publications.

Further, the Salzburg II recommendations are followed in the creation of the various training activities, which are based on research and designed for the DCs to follow joint trainings as well as individual training paths for their own research project and professional development. All partners contribute to the training programme to cultivate the research mindset and advance the European doctoral education. The non-academic partners bring their industrial insights to the network by participating in the overall knowledge transfer via technical lectures, mainly related to industrial applications of AM (e.g., in the marine sector, biomedical sector), as the industrial participation is essential in DurAMat for the DCs individual projects.
